Imphal, Feb. 10 -- Manipur government has suspended internet services for five days from Tuesday as clashes, violence between two communities continued for the third consecutive day at Ukhrul district.

Manipur Chief Minister Y Khemchand had been monitoring the situation and deputed Losii Dikho, Deputy Chief Minister to meet representatives of the affected communities. Even though MLAs of the two communities discussed the situation at Litan, Ukhrul district, clashes continued. So far about 30 houses have been completely gutted in the latest spell of violence.
