Varanasi, Feb. 5 -- Amid global concerns about climate change and food security, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is hosting a significant global dialogue on agricultural innovations and solutions.

The three-day international conference, 'Climate-Resilient Agriculture for Sustainable Development: Innovations and Solutions 2026', was inaugurated at the university on Thursday.

The event is being organized by the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, with the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines as its technical co-organizer.
