New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday demanded an urgent meeting with union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Delhi Police Commissioner over the alleged assault of a doctor posted with Acharya Bhikshu Hospital in Moti Nagar.
The AAP has alleged that the doctor was allegedly attacked by BJP MLA Harish Khurana.
AAP has claimed that despite complaints from 40 doctors, no First Information Report (FIR) was registered in the case.
The incident allegedly occurred on August 21 at Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital. AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged that an intern doctor was assaulted by the MLA and his supporters, calling it a "shameful" act.
