Agartala, March 11 -- The Northeast Frontier Railway has announced the introduction of a new train service between Narangi (near Guwahati) and Agartala, which will significantly improve rail connectivity between Assam and Tripura.

According to General Manager (Operations), the inaugural run of the train will be flagged off from Narangi Railway Station on March 13.

The inaugural special train, Narangi-Agartala Inaugural Special, is scheduled to depart from Narangi at 2:30 PM and reach Agartala at 5:45 AM the following day.

During its journey, the train will halt at several important stations, including Jagiroad, Hojai, Lumding, New Haflong, Badarpur, New Karimganj, Dharmanagar, Kumarghat, and Ambassa.
