Hamirpur (UP), Sept. 14 -- An inmate lodged in an SC/ST case four days ago in Hamirpur district jail in Uttar Pradesh died today after which his family members have accused the jail administration of negligence, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Anil Kumar Tiwari (33), a resident of Surajpur village of Sadar Kotwali, had a dispute with a Shrivas family of the same village 10 years ago, in which a report was lodged against Anil in Kotwali Hamirpur. "After the dispute, Anil started working as a guard in Delhi. His father also worked as a labourer," they said.
