Nagarkurnool, Feb. 24 -- Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao today alleged serious lapses in law and order following the death of a two-month-old infant during an attack on a family belonging to a lower caste at the Mallanna Swami Jatara in Kummera village of Nagarkurnool district.
Addressing a media conference here after visiting the bereaved family, Rao said the incident was inhuman and deeply disturbing. He alleged that instead of taking action against the accused, police registered cases against the victim family and ignored their complaint, calling it a clear violation of law and gross negligence.
