New Delhi, Feb. 15 -- Indian student Saketh Sreenivasaiah, 22, has been found dead in California, six days after he went missing, the Indian consulate said late Saturday. Sreenivasaiah was pursuing chemical and biomolecular engineering at University of California Berkely. He was missing since February 9.
"The Consulate deeply regrets to convey that the local police has confirmed the recovery of the body of the missing Indian student, Saketh Sreenivasaiah. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones," it said.
"The Consulate stands ready to provide all necessary assistance to the family, including coordination with local authorities and arrangements for the repatriation of the mortal remains to India at the earliest. O...
