Chennai, Feb. 24 -- The Indian Navy is set to strengthen its Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) capabilities with the commissioning of Dolphin Hunter Anjadip, the third vessel in the eight-ship Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC) project, on February 27 at Chennai Port.

The warship will be formally commissioned into the Eastern Naval Command at Chennai Port, and it will be presided over by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff.

The commissioning marks a major step in India's push for 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' in defence, showcasing the success of indigenous warship design and construction.
