Chennai, July 31 -- Indian exports of medical devices can increase to the US if the American import duties on Indian goods are 15-20% lower as compared to the duties levied on Chinese products, said Rajiv Nath, Forum Coordinator, Association of Indian Medical Device Industry (AiMeD).
Nath also said the medical devices should also find it feasible to absorb the FDA approval costs and deeming these export costs sustainable.
He also said it is premature to comment on US-India tariffs until official announcement.
