Nadaun(HP), Dec. 27 -- Former union Minister and MP Anurag Singh Thakur on Saturday said that the Indian economy was one of the worst (faltering fifth) economies of the world when the UPA government was in power.
He said this during a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) event held at Nadaun. He said that it was due to the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the Indian economy had risen to the top five in the world.
Before the event, Thakur paid obeisance at the Gurudwara in Nadaun on the occasion of 'Veer Bal Diwas'(which was observed on Friday).
