Chennai, Feb. 1 -- The 50th Raising Day of the Indian Coast Guard was celebrated in a grand ceremony held at Head QuartersCoast Guard Region (East), Chennai on Sunday.
The event was graced by Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi along with other dignitaries from Central and State Governments, besides adequate representation from Diplomatic Consulates.
A large number of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) veterans based in Chennai attended the function, showing their solidarity during the solemn occasion.
