Bengaluru, Feb. 3 -- Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Tuesday hailed the India-US trade deal as a historic breakthrough, terming it a transformative moment for the country's economy.
In a post on social media, Vijayendra said the agreement, which brings down tariffs to 18 per cent, would unlock unprecedented opportunities for farmers, MSMEs, entrepreneurs and skilled workers across India. He said the deal would also significantly strengthen the Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
