Pokhara(Nepal), Jan. 30 -- The Indian U17 women's team will play their first match in the SAFF U19 Women's Championship 2026 against hosts Nepal at the Pokhara Rangasala Stadium in Pokhara on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Led by new head coach Pamela Conti, the U17 team are using this higher-age group tournament as part of their preparations for the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup that will be held in China from April 30 onwards.
At the pre-competition press conference, Conti expressed her excitement ahead of her first tournament with the Young Tigresses.
