New Delhi, March 30 -- During FY 2024-25, the India's Total Primary Energy Supply (TPES) grew by 2.95 per cent over the past year and stood at 9,32,816 KToE (Kilo Tonnes of oil Equivalent), said a report released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation here on Monday.

The Energy Statistics India 2026 noted that credit flow to the energy sector in India posted a growth of over six per cent from an amount of Rs 1,688 Cr during 2021 to Rs 10,325 crore during 2025.

Total Final Consumption (TFC) of energy surged by over 30.41 per cent from 4,69,212 KToE in FY 2015-16 to 608,578 KToE in FY 2024.

The country has huge potential for the generation of renewable energy which stands at 47,04,043 Megawatt as of March 2025.
