Hyderabad, Oct. 5 -- GSL Medical Institutions (India), Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) and Uzbekistan-based Impuls Medical Institute have jointly launched the first-ever MBBS program fully aligned with NMC (National Medical Commissions) norms. With compliance with the Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate (FMGL) Regulations, 2021, this landmark Indo-Uzbek academic partnership ensures that Indian students pursuing medical education abroad receive training equivalent to Indian MBBS standards - comprising 54 months of academic study followed by 12 months of paid clinical internship, said Dr Tarun Gogineni, Director, GSL Hospitals and Medical Institutions, on the occasion here on Sunday.
