Chennai, April 6 -- In a landmark event that would propel India's 2nd gen nuclear energy programme, Prime Minister Narendra Moditonight announced that the indigenous own 500 MW Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) at Kalpakkam, about 70 km here, attainedcriticality on Monday.
