Patna, May 11 -- Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain said India had always used technological and scientific strength for peace, security and the welfare of humanity.
Addressing a seminar organised on the occasion of National Technology Day by SIMEZ Educational Group and Vijnana Bharati, Bihar, the Governor highlighted India's commitment to responsible scientific advancement and peaceful use of technology.
Referring to the Pokhran-II nuclear tests conducted on May 11, 1998, Hasnain said India's nuclear capability was aimed at ensuring peace and stability rather than aggression.
