New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- India signed off from the Asian Shooting Championships 2026 in style, bagging seven medals on the final day to finish with a rich haul of 33 medals, 13 gold, 11 silver and nine bronze, in senior rifle and pistol events.
Former world champion Amanpreet Singh led Friday's charge, clinching gold in the 25m centre fire pistol, a non-Olympic event. The 38-year-old topped the standings with an impressive 589-24x across precision and rapid rounds, as per Olympics.com.
India completed a clean sweep of the podium in the event, with Gurpreet Singh (584-20x) taking silver and Ankur Goel (570-11x) securing bronze.
