Ranchi, Oct. 25 -- India maintained its stronghold at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championship 2025 being held at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Morabadi, Ranchi, with a stellar performance on the second day.

Indian athletes bagged 7 gold, 8 silver, and 3 bronze medals, taking the country's overall tally to 32 medals.

Sri Lanka followed closely with 8 golds and 23 total medals, while Nepal secured the third position with three bronze medals.

Indian athletes excelled particularly in hurdles, middle-distance, and throwing events, showcasing dominance across multiple categories.
