New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- India and the European union have reiterated their commitment to deepening cooperation in next-generation digital technologies, with a special focus on secure 6G communications and trusted telecom supply chains.
The renewed partnership was highlighted in the Leaders' Statement issued during the visit of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and the EU College of Commissioners to India on February 27-28, 2025.
Both sides underlined the growing importance of advanced and emerging technologies under the India-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC), welcoming closer collaboration in telecommunications, digital infrastructure and global standards development.
