New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- India and Egypt, during their first bilateral Strategic Dialogue held here, focused on enhancing economic, trade, and investment ties, advancing cooperation in technology and innovation, and expanding the defence partnership, particularly in joint training and defence industries.
The talks also covered security cooperation in counterterrorism and intelligence sharing.
The first round of the Strategic Dialogue was co-chaired by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty in New Delhi on Thursday.
