New Delhi, March 6 -- The long-standing Davis Cup rivalry between India and Switzerland is set for another chapter as the two nations face off in the 2025 World Group I tie.
The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced that the tie will take place on either September 12-13 or September 13-14, with Switzerland deciding the final dates as the host.
India holds a 2-1 lead in their Davis Cup head-to-head record against Switzerland. Their last encounter was in 1993 in Kolkata, where India secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory, led by Leander Paes and Ramesh Krishnan. The upcoming clash is expected to reignite past memories and test the mettle of both teams on the international stage.
