Chennai, March 28 -- In India's first, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), a National Standards Body of India under the union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, has granted the first ISI licence for for Electric Grinder, Hammer, Guide Rails for lifts.
At the "Mankad Samvad" meeting at the BIS Chennai branch office, the of BIS licence for use of ISI mark on Electric Power tools namely Grinder, Hammer to M/s. Bosch Limited and Guide rails for Lifts to M/s. Savera India Riding Systems Company Pvt Ltd, was handed over for the first time in the country on Friday evening.
