Islamabad, June 29 -- Former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan has warned the Punjab police and bureaucracy regarding taking and following what he called "illegal orders" of the provincial government during the upcoming local government elections, claiming the PTI has been maintaining the departments' record, Dawn reported on Wednesday.

Khan also claimed that his government did not give in to the pressure from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and pass on the burden of global inflation upon the Pakistani people.
