Rawalpindi, March 23 -- Former Pakistan prime minister, and founder of the erstwhile ruling, primary opposition group - Pakistan Tehreek - e Insaf - Imran Khan has completed a course of eye treatment after receiving a third anti-VEGF injection at Islamabad's Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), with doctors expressing satisfaction over his condition, after increasing rumours spread about his allegedly deteriorating eye condition.
According to a statement issued by hospital authorities on Monday, Khan was brought from Adiala Jail with his consent and underwent the procedure in an operation theatre under strict medical protocols and precautionary measures. The injection forms part of ongoing treatment for a serious eye condition.
