Nagpur, March 8 -- union Minister Nitin Gadkari today said that improving access to basic facilities such as housing, education, employment, values and entertainment in rural areas will help enhance the "Happy Human Index" of people living in villages.

He was speaking here at the inauguration of the ambitious 'Ekal Hub' project under the Cine Chourangi initiative of the Late Laxmanrao Mankar Smruti Sanstha in the MIHAN area of Nagpur.

Gadkari further said the project seeks to bring modern entertainment, education and knowledge facilities to rural Maharashtra and will contribute to improving the quality of life of people in villages.
