Mumbai, Dec. 5 -- Senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar said here on Thursday that if the BJP wins 175 seats out of 268 seats in the Maharashtra local body polls, it will automatically stand proven that foul means were used by the BJP to win the elections.
"If your stand regarding EVMs is clear, then why wait for 20 days for the local civic body poll results? On what basis they claim that about 175 out of 268 seats in the state will be won by the BJP,"? Wadettiwar asked.
"What great thing did you do to win so many seats? You got elected in the name of your Laadki Bahin Yojana. There is an attempt to win elections by tampering with EVMs. If BJP wins 175 seats, it will be proved that BJP won the elections by cheating and manipulating EVMs...
