Tel Aviv/Sanaa, Aug. 24 -- Israeli Defence Forces have launched an aerial attack in the Yemen's capital Sanaa in response to the group's ballistic missile strike on Friday. The strikes included the Presidential Palace, missile sites, and the Hizaz and Asar power plants, confirms Jerusalem Post.

According to the military, the Yemeni presidential palace in Sanaa is "located within a military site from which the military operations of the Houthi terrorist regime forces are conducted."The two power plants were key to the Houthi's electricity supply, with the IDF further stating that it was evident of the organisation's use of civilian infrastructure for military purposes.
