Imphal, Jan. 20 -- The ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat, successfully organised a one-day training programme on "Pulse Production Technologies for Rice Fallow for Food and Nutrition Security" on Tuesday at the Loktak Farmers' Hostel, ICAR Manipur Centre.
The programme was sponsored by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Pulses Research (IIPR), Kanpur, under the NEH Programme titled "Promotion of Pulses in NEH Region".
A total of 47 farmers, including 12 women, from Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Bishnupur districts participated in the training.
