Hyderabad, Jan. 1 -- Prayers, parties and vibrant cultural celebrations marked the arrival of New Year 2026 across Hyderabad, Secunderabad and several parts of Telangana on Thursday.
Devotees thronged temples across the city and surrounding areas to offer special poojas, welcoming the New Year with spiritual fervour, while churches organised special midnight services and prayers.
Residential colonies and apartment complexes hosted lively programmes with music, dance and cake-cutting to usher in the New Year.
