Hyderabad, Dec. 14 -- The Niri9 International Film Festival is set to return with its third edition here on January 10 and 11, 2026, marking a significant moment of cultural convergence between the North Eastern region and Telangana.
Organised with the cooperation of the Governor of Telangana, and the Telangana Cultural Department, the festival reflects the state's growing interest in deepening artistic and cultural linkages with the North East.
This year, the festival received an impressive 176 film entries across categories, including 40 Feature Films, 65 Short Films, 56 Shorter Films, and 15 Documentaries, underscoring its expanding presence on the national and global film landscape.
