Hyderabad, Sept. 17 -- Hyderabad Police Commissioner C V Anand today inaugurated a state-of-the-art child care centre (creche) for the children of police personnel at the CAR Headquarters, Petlaburj.

The G1 facility, built on a 15,000 square feet plot at a cost of about Rs 5 crore, can accommodate 150-200 children aged between 0-5 years. The project was executed by Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) as part of its CSR initiative, with support from the MEIL Foundation and its Director, Smt. Pamireddy Ramareddy.

Speaking at the event, Anand said the facility would ease the stress of working mothers in the police force by ensuring quality childcare while they are on duty. The facility is equipped with indoor and outdoor pla...
