Hyderabad, July 3 -- The Cyber Crime Police of Hyderabad have arrested a man for his alleged involvement in a large-scale movie piracy racket that led to the illegal leaking of around 40 Telugu films over the past 18 months.
Acting on a complaint from the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce's Anti-Video Piracy Cell, police traced the source of a pirated version of the movie #Single, which was circulated online on the day of its release, May 9, 2025. The pirated content was found on platforms such as 1TamilMV, 1TamilBlasters, and 5MoviezRulz, a police statement said on Thursday.
