Hyderabad, May 27 -- A coordination meeting was held at the Salar Jung Museum Auditorium on Tuesday to ensure a peaceful and hygienic celebration of the Bakrid festival in Hyderabad.
The meeting was chaired by Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C V Anand and attended by officials from key government departments, including the Animal Husbandry Department, GHMC, RTA, TGSPDCL, and HMWSS&B.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Anand emphasised that checkpoints would be established across the city to monitor and prevent the illegal transport of animals and ensure overall security.
