Hyderabad, July 10 -- A woman software professional, who allegedly lost money in online betting, allegedly committed suicide at KPHB near here.
Though the 25-year-old Anusha, who is believed to be addicted to online betting, took the extreme step on Tuesday night, the incident came to light only today, police said here.
On Tuesday night, when her husband, also a software professional, was away, Anusha allegedly hanged herself from the ceiling fan in their house, in Kukatpally Housing Board Colony, on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The body was shifted to the local government hospital for autopsy.
