Hyderabad, Feb. 19 -- Ahead of the forthcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana C Sudarshan Reddy on Thursday conducted a comprehensive training programme for Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) at the CEO's Office in Hyderabad.
The training was attended by 50 EROs from Medchal Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Rangareddy and Hyderabad districts. The session focused on the preparation, updation and maintenance of electoral rolls, along with a detailed orientation on the procedures to be followed during the SIR.
Addressing the officers, Sudarshan Reddy emphasised the critical role of EROs in ensuring the accuracy, inclusiveness and transparency of electoral rolls.
