Hyderabad, March 1 -- Jeedimetla Inspector Gaddam Mallesh today stated that a gang allegedly involved in creating fake vehicle insurance policies and defrauding the public has been arrested.
A total of nine suspects have been taken into custody in connection with this case, the Inspector said in a release here.
According to the Inspector, following a complaint by Mrunal Kumar, a representative of Reliance General Insurance Company, it was identified that certain individuals in the NLBC Nagar area and its surroundings were producing and selling fake vehicle insurance documents in the names of reputed insurance companies.
Based on this complaint, a case was registered at Jeedimentla Police Station.
