Hyderabad, Jan. 26 -- Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (BIACH&RI) celebrated the 77th Republic Day here on Monday with patriotic fervour, marking the occasion with a historic achievement that earned international recognition.
The highlight of the event was a deeply emotional and inspiring performance of the National Anthem by over 75 cancer patients from the hospital's Head & Neck Department, all of whom had undergone laryngectomy and now speaks using artificial vocal cords.
This unique rendition was officially recognized by the World Book of Records, London, as a world record for the largest group of patients with artificial larynx singing the National Anthem, bringing global recognition to BIACH&RI and ...
