Hyderabad, Jan. 25 -- The Cyberabad Police Women & Child Safety Wing intensified enforcement and awareness activities across the commissionerate from January 17 to 23, resulting in the rescue of 337 children and the registration of 119 cases under the Juvenile Justice Act and Child Labour Act as part of Operation Smile-XII.
The Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) rescued 329 boys and eight girls from child labour and vulnerable situations during special drives conducted across Cyberabad limits, said K. Srujana, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women & Child Safety Wing), Cyberabad, in a release here on Saturday.
