Sarghat (Mandi), Jan. 17 -- An HRTC bus met with an accident on the Gobharata-Sarkaghat route on Friday morning near Tapaun.
The bus overturned and rolled about 20 feet down the road before coming to rest in a field.
According to information, the accident occurred around 8:35 am. There were eight people on board the bus, including the driver and conductor. Seven passengers sustained injuries in the mishap, while the conductor escaped unhurt. The driver suffered serious injuries.
Residents rushed to the spot immediately after the accident and helped in rescuing the injured passengers. The victims were first brought up to the road and later shifted to Sarkaghat Hospital using private vehicles and ambulances. All the injured are currently u...
