Shimla, Feb. 17 -- Police have registered an FIR against an Assistant Professor of (HPU) after verification reportedly revealed that he had submitted a fake 10 2 marksheet at the time of his appointment.
The case was registered at Baluganj police station following a written complaint by HPU Registrar Gyan Sagar Negi. The accused is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration at the university's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE).
According to the complaint, the university on February 18, 2025, initiated verification of documents submitted by the faculty member during his recruitment process. The 10 2 marksheet was sent to the School Education Board for authentication. During scrutiny, it alleg...
