Hamirpur (HP), March 25 -- Under the ongoing campaign launched by the Hamirpur Police against drug trafficking, the Nadaun Police Station has achieved another significant success.
On March 24, 2026, while conducting a patrol in Purana, Fatehpur, a police team arrested Sunil Kumar (24 years old) and recovered 6.87 grams of 'Chitta' (Heroin) from his possession.
In this regard, a case has been registered at the Nadaun Police Station under Section 21 of the NDPS Act, said SP Hamirpur Balbir Singh on Wednesday.
Four cases are already registered against the accused, and he also tested positive in a drug test.
The Nadaun Police remain committed to taking strict action against drug traffickers, the SP said.
