Kullu, Feb. 5 -- Himachal Pradesh, particularly the hill districts, continued to reel under recurring natural disasters, with fresh winter rainfall and snowfall once again exposing the fragility of the Himalayan terrain.
On Thursday morning, a major landslide struck Pahalnala village in Kullu district, inflicting panic among residents after a large portion of the mountain behind the habitation suddenly collapsed.
According to eyewitnesses, huge boulders and debris came crashing down from the hillside towards the village, sending clouds of dust billowing into the air.
