Shahpur (Kangra), April 20 -- A large rally of tractor operators was held at Chambi Maidan in Rait under Shahpur assembly constituency to express gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for granting relief to the community.
Slogans of "Long Live the Chief Minister" echoed across the ground during the rally.
Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania, who attended as the chief guest, termed the relief a "commendable step" and said the entire region was thankful to the Chief Minister.
He added that the state's Director General of Police has also directed officials not to harass tractor operators unnecessarily.
