Dharamshala, Feb. 12 -- The Himachal Pradesh State Women's Commission on Wednesday organised a district-level special court at the Divisional Commissioner's office in Dharamshala to hear cases related to harassment of women, family disputes and domestic violence.
Commission Chairperson Vidya Negi, along with members Saroj Sharma, Reena Pundir and Reena Daroch, heard the grievances of the aggrieved women and issued necessary directions to concerned departments to ensure speedy and effective redressal of the cases.
Negi said that out of 28 listed cases, 15 were taken up for hearing. Of these, 12 cases were disposed of on the spot, while three cases remain under process, with both petitioners and respondents present during the proceedings. S...
