Una, Feb. 9 -- Launched in 2023 on the direction of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar Student Loan Scheme is ensuring that no talented student in the state leaving their higher education dream incomplete simply because of their poor financial background.
This student-centric thinking and a financial support scheme is proving to be a boon for meritorious students whose path to higher education was being hampered due to lack of financial resources. Under the scheme, the state government is providing education loans of up to Rs 20 lakh at an interest rate of only 1 per cent.
