Shimla, Feb. 15 -- The Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers (NGO) Federation has sought intervention of the Prime Minister over discontinuation of the Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG), stating that the hill state would not be able to sustain the financial burden arising from its withdrawal.
In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the Federation office-bearers expressed concern over the financial stress being faced by the state following the recommendations of the 16th Finance Commission.
