Shimla, Dec. 6 -- The Himachal Pradesh Government on Saturday indicated that it would seek legal opinion on whether to challenge in the Supreme Court the High Court's judgment that quashed the Council of Ministers' decision altering the basis of delimitation for Zila Parishad constituencies.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta told UNI that the Government would obtain legal advice before taking a final decision on filing an appeal or proceeding to conduct a fresh delimitation exercise in accordance with the High Court's directions.
