Shimla, March 19 -- Himachal Pradesh government on Thursday presented the first and final batch of Supplementary Demands for Grants for the financial year 2025-26, totaling Rs 40,461.95 crore.
Of this, Rs 36,374.61 crore is allocated for State Schemes and Rs 4,087.34 crore for Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu who held the portfolio of finance stated in the house that key allocations under State Schemes include Rs 26,194.95 crore for repayment of Ways & Means Advances and overdrafts, Rs 4,150.14 crore for power subsidies and electricity infrastructure, Rs 818.20 crore for natural calamity relief, Rs 785.22 crore for water supply and sanitation, and Rs 657.22 crore for healthcare initiatives including HIMCA...
