Shimla, March 26 -- Deputy Superintendent of Himachal Pradesh Police, Vijay Kumar, has once again brought laurels to the state by winning an individual medal at the All India Police Duty Meet Shooting Competition (AIPDM) 2025-26.
A police official said here on Thursday that the championship is being held at the CRPF Group Centre in Gurugram from March 22 to 30, with shooters from various state police forces and central armed police forces participating in the national-level event.
Vijay Kumar secured the medal in the Pistol/Revolver event - 50 yards prone (SNAP), unsupported on elbow with a double-hand grip - displaying remarkable marksmanship and consistency while competing against top shooters from across the country, he added.
